Shibli Faraz is a Pakistani politician serving as the Minister of Science and Technology, in office from 16 April 2021. He is member of Senate of Pakistan from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since 2015. Previously, Syed Shibli Faraz has served as the Leader of the House for the Senate of Pakistan from 26 August 2018 till 4 June 2020. He is a senior member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Faraz completed his Matriculation from Cadet College, Kohat. He completed his bachelor's degree from Edwards College, Peshawar, and followed it with an LL.B. from Law College, Peshawar. Completed his MA in International Relations from the University de Los Andes, Colombia in 1994. Shibli has a fellowship in Finance & International Banking from Chartered Institute of Bankers, London. He has a firm grip on Pashto, English, Spanish and Urdu.
